The Summits

The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness will help you become prepared, connected and empowered to lead during times of crisis.

The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness is a one- to two-day training and networking opportunity for high-level decision makers in business, government and nonprofit organizations.

Individuals who participate in a Meta-Leadership Summit:

• examine strengths and weaknesses of leaders and how these factors influence actions during times of crisis;
• identify potential partnerships that can be leveraged before, during and after a disaster strikes – gaining a better understanding of each sectors’ interests and motives; and
• apply meta-leadership tools and techniques to address potential threats in their own communities and states.

Leaders come away from the experience galvanized to practice meta-leadership both within their own organizations and as part of a multi-sector leadership team planning for or acting during a local or national emergency.

To date, 18 Summits have engaged more than 2,200 leaders in Columbus, GA; Wichita, KS; Denver, CO; Louisville, KY; Princeton, NJ; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Baltimore, MD; Washington D.C.; Lexington, KY; Raleigh, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Coastal Georgia; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ and St. Louis, MO.
