Governor Corzine Opens New Jersey Meta-Leadership Summit

The Summits
The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness will help you become prepared, connected and empowered to lead during times of crisis.
The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness is a one to two-day training and networking opportunity for high-level decision makers in business, government and nonprofit organizations who would be involved in crisis planning and response.
Individuals who participate in a Meta-Leadership Summit:
Leaders come away from the experience galvanized to practice meta-leadership both within their own organizations and as part of a multi-sector leadership team planning for or acting during a local or national emergency.
The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness completed its pilot phase in September 2008. Pilot summits have been held in Columbus, GA, Wichita, KS Denver, CO, Louisville, KY and Princeton, NJ. In the fall of 2008, the CDC Foundation and its partners anticipate moving forward with a national rollout of the summits, which will target leaders from all 50 states.
Participation in the summits is by invitation only. If you have not received an invitation and wish to take part in a summit, please call 404-523-1788 or e-mail summit@cdcfoundation.org.
