Denver Leaders Convene for CEPP Meeting
On Thursday, May 22, leaders from Denver’s public, private and nonprofit communities participated in the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership’s (CEPP) first quarterly meeting. CEPP aims to bring the private sector to the table in a streamlined fashion for emergency preparedness and homeland security planning and to help smooth lines of communication across the public, private and nonprofit sectors. The meeting featured Ellis Stanley, Director of Democratic National Convention Planning for Denver’s Office of Emergency Management who, along with CDC and the CDC Foundation representatives, presented highlights of the Meta-Leadership Summit and discussed post-summit activities. For more information about getting involved in CEPP, contact Pamela Pfeiffer at 303-607-4731 or ppfeifer@bens.org.
