Summit Highlights

Summit Format

Each Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness consists of two half-day sessions − either a full day (morning/afternoon) or over two days (afternoon/morning).

  • In Session One, participants learn the five dimensions of meta-leadership and apply several tools to help them address preparedness and emergency response problems.
  • In Session Two, participants work collaboratively to address a specific preparedness challenge facing their city or state and share proposed strategies for reaching solutions to the problem.

Networking Reception

A critical element of practicing meta-leadership is knowing with whom to coordinate when a disaster strikes. The Networking Reception provides an important opportunity for you to make connections with leaders from other organizations and sectors and begin to explore partnerships that could help strengthen organizational and community preparedness.

Attendees

The Meta-Leadership Summit for Preparedness is designed for high-level decision makers in business, government and nonprofit organizations. The event is by invitation only and is limited to 200 participants.
